Vista is mainly just bloat and eye candy. Oh, and you have much less rights - it's not YOUR files on YOUR computer, it's someone else's files on a computer you're leasing software to run.
Feel free to look up Digital Rights Management...

The ironic part? The eye candy's already available in Linux - it's called Beryl. You can get the eye candy in XP.

Outlook 2007 uses Word's HTML rendering instead of IE's - that puts the rendering back at least 5 years. No backgrounds, no advanced positioning.

Do yourself a favour and get an Ubuntu CD sent to you for free. You can try it without installing anything... Ubuntu is Linux, but a very friendly version. There is still a learning curve, though.

Imagine installing 5 programs and NOT having to reboot your computer at any point!

It's just a juiced up XP
If you are happy with XP
don't upgrade until your PC S***'s The Bed
