Allman Brothers Band, "Whipping Post"
Several versions have been released, both live and studio, on different albums. Some are longer than others, but I'm not aware of a 'short' studio version. The original single release may have been shorter than the original album cut, but good luck finding one today.

That song was made by the band ... "Christ and the apostles"..... the album was called ...."Crucify this"
