I watch it out of habit now. Dont worry me if I miss it. I actually watch it like a comedy now. I find it hilarious that nobody has washing machines they all go to the laundrette, they all eat breakfast at the cafe when they could cook it at home themselves, no-one has a car they all get cabs everywhere, the houses seem to be like tardis, especially Pats, how many people are living there now? About 8 I think at last count. Lol

I was like that for a while - watching it out of habit, but now I just don't bother with it. I caught a bit of an episode the other week but I didn't recognise many of the characters, and I had no idea what was going on. It really has gone downhill.

cant the producers make it a bit more fizzy. lets just say that pat and peggy were lesbians and phil is paulines and authurs secret love child and sonia is in fact an alien for deepest space sent to walford to hunt out and destroy the last remaining survivor of the plant scruurrrlllb and that frank butcher is the real father to ian beale and that wellard was in fact a secret FBI agent trying to infeltrate grants brain and that kevin is trying to take over the world with the kleenex tissue ad and that stella is a bloke in drag and that deano was originally called halawibalooma on a councill estate in brighton and that billy and martin are twin brothers and that carly is a depressive sycopathic murderer set on getting into a threesome with pat and peggy,,,,,I mean come on,,make it real.

I do watch it out of habit. If I miss it, I get a feeling that something is missing, which I guess is pretty tragic. you're right when you say it hasn't been that good for a while. It's getting more and more depressing by the week.

I agree completely, i haven't seen a good story for ages, I miss that, now i only watch it if there's nothing else I want to do, none of the story lines interest me anymore and they're all so repetitive now too, same with corrie, just not as good anymore.

It hasn't been as good, but I still watch it. It is a habit, but I am entertained by it & that's all that matters.

What is there to enjoy we make the kids watch it as a punishment (only kidding ).It's a pile of mince there is no humour in it and it's supposed to reflect real life if that was my life I'd rather be dead.

The general concensus within my group of friends is that it is very depressing, and that hardly anyone watches it anymore. And yet, it still wins awards, and the hollyoaks people look very disappointed again.
