I think Ronaldo ( Brazil) is an excellent player & he has overcome many medical conditions & he still has come out on top, in my opinion he is the best player in the world, I also like Cristiano Ronaldo & think that in time Cristiano may also be as good as the brazilian Ronaldo but i think the world will always praise & honour the brazilian Ronaldo. What do you guys think ?

Well,you actually can't compare the greatness of the brazilian hero,but you can say that cristiano ronaldo is learning from bigger stars and one day he might be able to become one of the greatest footballers but for now ronaldo from brazil is the great one.But,cristiano ronaldo is still learning and his future looks great.......

CR has had a better Real Madrid career, but Ronaldo was a superior player overall Ronaldo played in the late 90s and early 2000s, a much more competitive era of football than today's La Liga. Also Ronaldo won the World Cup and scored 15 goals. Brazil Ronaldo > CR

i think the greatness of a player should be measured by his overall legacy in the game. true enough, Ronaldo(brazil) has been one of the greatest players ever. his current form may not show it so its unfair to compare both at this time. but the 21 year old ronaldo then, would sure compare well to c.ronaldo.. both have impressive performance on the pitch as well as unique style of play that instantly makes them iconic.
undeniably, Ronaldo is indeed one of the best in the world and one of the best strikers ever. for that, the world will never forget the "prodigy" but Cristiano is also proving himself as one of the the best in his generation. yes both are great, and in time when both finally wrap up their game, we'll see who is greater.
there is only one ronaldo.. one at a time.. :D

Brazil Ronaldo WAS the best. His time has moved on. Like Mohammed Ali, all greats must retire, and i thinki it is his time. Portugal Ronaldo is better now and in form. He will take the others place. Brazil Ronaldo should retire and move on. He is out of form and should retire with some dignity intact.

well, Ronaldo (brazil) is now old and his performance is kind of low...while C. Ronaldo is still young and has a great performance, but if you are saying ronaldo (brazil) when he was c. ronaldo;s age, i would definitely say ronaldo (brazil)
