Yes, you can become pregnant even with a contraceptive. There is no way to prevent the "error" in it, but there should be charts somewhere. I once ran upon a chart where they give you the probability of getting pregnant with each type of contraceptive. I would suggest looking at a female birth control site *i.e. Nuva ring*...most female pills and rings are 99% effective, while male condoms may only be around 80 % effective.

There is always a chance no matter what you use for contracption. The contraceptive pill, is only about 97% accurate so there is always a chance. The only way to try and make sure it doesnt happen is to, use the pill along with a condom. If you are using the morning after pill, make sure that you take it ASAP, the longer you leave it the less likely you are to prevent pregnancy.
Good Luck with this,.

Contraceptives are never 100% accurate. Condoms can be broken or contain tiny holes. Diaphragms may not be inserted or removed properly. Oral contraceptives can be forgotten and even if they are taken EXACTLY as instructed you can still become pregnant. The best protection is to double up. Use a condom and an oral contraceptive. It still isn't 100% effective but you are cutting down your chances even more and decreasing the risk of contracting a STD.

Try using the depo provera shot and a condom at the same time. But like that one guy answered some men are born with super sperm and some women are extremely fertile. So abstinence is the key. But if you gotta have then go to the doc and get a shot, it 99% accurate, you only have to get it once in 1-3 months, and with that use a condom, and when the guy ejaculates tell him to pull it out! It works sometimes, however pre-*** is as deadly as full blown. Oh yeah and I hope you're married causes that stops alot of conflict to.

Im not a gal but Ill tell you a friend got pregnant twice while she was on the pill.
Not once but twice -- what luck huh?
Read the risks on the Pill -- 90'something percent effective.
The withdrawal method is pretty good. Works for me, but only if you do it at certain times of the month.
Let the guy finish inside you during the first week after and the first week before your pregnancy.
And during the middle 2 weeks where your most fertile, he has to withdrawal or you guys do other things. Oral anal, condom for him.
Even all that is reducing the risk.
There comes a time when you just have to say Ill do my best but if its meant to happen its going to happen.
Good luck
If you have the discpline, the above just might work for you.
Its worked for me for 3 years

Use of spermicidal jell It is a help of course condoms and birth control are not as effective as abstinence. You can never be too clean or too sure or too careful when you have sex procreation is involved but no one is thinking at that time about a baby, I find my financial situation states cant afford baby.
So dont do the crime if you cant stand the time.
Time to raise the child and keep him safe even if you think all the bases are covered. I worry about the 1%

Contraceptives are only 99% effective. If you want to be 100% in making sure you don't get pregnant then the only way is to not have sex in the first place.

I have 3 children & none of them were planned. I used contraceptives every time although with the last one i was a bit unreliable taking my pill daily because of my shift work. But you know what - thankgod contraceptives weren't reliable for me or i wouldn't have my little darlings now. With my last baby i had my tubes tied & so far no more accidents.

Yes, if the condom breaks or you forget to take your pill.
SOLUTIONS FOR PREVENTION: Naever use expired condoms; don't open condom packets with the teeth and watch out for jewellery nad sharp nails; take the pill at the same time each day (If you forget, don't have sex until 24 hours after you remember to take it again)
