I've heard that there will be no more Star Wars movies, at least none directed by Lucas. There will be another animated series that will be released later on this year, I believe, as well as a live action television series. A long time ago I heard that there was going to be a 3rd trilogy, but it was going to follow the events in the Grand Admiral Thrawn books, but I believed that was scrapped a long time ago.

George Lucas did say episode 3 was the last one. I did read some ideas for films 7, 8 and 9 somewhere but I do not think they will be made we can only hope! May the force be with you!

I'm sure that you may already know this, but George Lucas is currently in the process of writing a T.V series. With this George can expand storylines beyond our imagination. I'm sure that George will be looking at possilby making more than one t.v series. For example, after RTOTJ, and star wars chronicles to explain bits and pieces that we were never told during the original films. I can't wait for more details to come through and I'm sure that it will be fantastic.

Lucas is moving Star Wars over to t.v.. Last I read he said that he was going to do about 100 hour episodes that take place between episode 3 and episode 4. Telling stories of the lesser characters.

I dont think there will be anymore films, but there are rumours of a tv show (a la Star Trek) which will be set in between films 3 (Revenge of the Sith) & 4 (Star Wars) I hope they dont, but guess we'll have to watch this space.

It would be a waste of film. The rebellions would end up having a rebellion against them, and then following the defeat of the rebellions there would be more rebels parting from the rebellion. A paradox would occur, and the entire universe would collapse.

I think George Lucas said that the last one they had outwas the final one. But who knows, if Lucas ever became bankrupt, he'd maybe make another one. Like Micheal Jackson is doing with his West End musical.

I think theres going to be a live action tv series that will have loads of minor characters and it would be a sort pf epic thing like Clone Wars and Samurai Jack.
