That is too big. I think that a 1 carat ring would be fine. Especially if it is perfect and heart-shaped with a platinum band.

In that case what on earth r u doing on here, why arent u out traveling the world, building ur mansions, buying Lamborginis`and dating movie stars instead of playing Q&A on the computer ?? Do u mean a 5 thousand dollar ring or a 5 carat diamond ring. I hope its a 5 carat job...Whee, lucky woman and not too big for the amount of money u inherted. Have a great life and keep dreaming !!

If it is a single diamond 5k is big, so it depends how big her hand is....and how the ring is set. Alternatively you can go for 3k (with the other 2k on the band).

More importantly, because you haven't found Mrs Right yet....I would negelct mentioning your plan....You want a woman that is in love with YOU, not your money!

Be careful, there are a lot of gold diggers out there.

Good luck

Yes, its too big because money isn't everything!!!! I smaller, ring which has more meaning would be accepted better, especially if you put some thought into it. If you get a 5K ring people may simply view it as you showing off your new found wealth! So in my opinion a smaller ring would surfice!

It depends on the woman....for some women, 5 karats can look like costume jewelry, for others, it might be too small....so it's best to see what kind of jewelry your future wife prefers. There are many premium jewelers for a man itching to spend good money on a ring...Cartier, Tiffany, Van Cleef, Neil Lane, etc. Good luck!

I bet your grandfather did not have to ask such a dumb question. you should first spend all you need on manners, personality, stuff like that. Have you not heard that NO diamond is too big. Will not make her love you more tho. you sound full of s h i t to me. So while you still have money buy some attends diapers.

Ok. Im a girl so i know this. I like presents but its mostly the thought that maters. If the 2 of you have been dating then get some things that remind you of you first date or your fave date or something like that. Give her the ring too though

Find the right woman first, fall in love and then think about the ring. Congrats on the inheritance. Have some fun & maybe think about contributing to a worthy charity.

i did not inevitably look for particular features...that makes it appear like searching, and a relationship could advance needless to say between 2 human beings. i began out relationship my husband through fact i presumed he regarded warm in his uniform, through fact he had a eye-catching smile, and because he substitute into extremely well mannered. those are not the flaws you base a marriage upon. yet there substitute right into a evaluate time that i found out that he substitute into the guy i substitute into going to marry, and it substitute into through fact he encompassed each little thing i mandatory and needed in a guy: honor, integrity, intelligence, and a super humorousness. something went incredibly incorrect sometime and that i found out that the only guy or woman i wanted at that 2nd substitute into him, that he substitute into the only guy or woman who fulfilled me and could comofort me. I married him through fact he's the only guy i will lay in mattress with and talk over with till 4 in the morning, through fact he's the only guy that has made me snort so not undemanding that I virtually moist my pants. I married him through fact i wanted him to be the daddy of my babies, through fact I knew he might make a super husband and a very good dad. And, merely as significant as that, I fulfill something in him. Marriage is definitely a 2-way highway. Date the guy / female you're attracted to...marry the only which you will not stay without.
