Georgetown and The George Washington University have excellent economics departments. I would suggest you apply to both of them. Both universities have economics faculty members who have also worked or are currently working in great economics institutions such as The World Bank, International Monetary Fund, the Department of Commerce, etc. Both universities will offer you a variety of opportunities to know more about the latest economic findings, research opportunities, and great internships. Both universities will also require an excellent application package including SAT I and II scores, TOEFL scores, letters of recommendations, essays, etc. So make sure you gather all admission requirements from these schools and start applying.
Good Luck!
