Russia has its own agenda, their political government has never been a close friends of the USA. We kind of have a love hate relationship going, dont look for it to change anytime soon its the nature of the beasts. Even though both countries people have more in common than we do with anyone else two two countries will always try to rival one another.

Yes, but different people will have different opinions on this. People like FOX News fans will think not, and people like NPR will think otherwise.

The reason they help Iran is because they also want to maintain world balance of power. Iran is now labeled as our enemy by right wing terrorists in the White House. Someone need to come out to voice some justice.

What Russia did is to teach the little GWB a lesson. Fortunately, this insane from the White House will be over after 09. We just be patient, time actually past very fast, you know ?

Yes, Russia did have terror attacks. However, they are still allies with the U.S.. Russia did sell arms and surface to air missiles to Iran, but they sold them to other countries as well. They were not the cream of the crop, so to speak. Truthfully, I think the Russians 'saw them coming' if you know what I mean. Hey, we'll take good money for old stuff too. Iran won't do anything with them right now.

Money talks BS walks. They are oil dependent also and Iran has both cash and gas.Russia would have to team up with Iran to mess with us.They are our allies I believe on paper anyway. The weapons trade in the world is a trillion dollar business so money determines loyalty. Many of the Powerful wealthy Russian's are over here or in some other country now since the collapse of communism

We co-exist and yes they have had their own issues with terrorists. They were Iraq's allies as well! Just as we were when put Saddam in power and gave them all that gas!

I guess they just don't see them as we do, or some do!

You have to remember Iran had an elected government, who was anti-US oil! So, the CIA starts terrorist attacks and blamed them on the government, which gets overthrown and we put a pro US-oil Shaw of Iran in power! We have our little fingers involved in anything that has to do with money or a resource we can steal!

Russia and USA have never been friends. They had less tense diplomatic relations, but this doesn't mean that they are friends...
Actually Bush said that Russia has been attacked by "rebels",not terrorists...because as Putin said,it seems that only those who attack US are terrorists...
How did they become Iran's allies? They have more political and economical gains from there...

Russia...like France.....does not want to be seen being America"s lapdog.........

also Russia is closer to the Iran boarder than the USA....so it does not want a nuclear IRAN...but it wants its own sphere of influence....

Russia....is changing.....but feeling the loss if its old Empire...but still is seeking to become more western......it takes time to change for a large country with a long history

I don't know if they are so much Irans buddies ans they are not ours... if you look around.. the U.S. does not have too many allies these days... Bush has managed to alienate just about everyone.
