It's too bad that the US doesn't have the same thing that Canada has (maybe you do, and I just don't know it?).
Canada has done a great thing which allows the people to send a message with their vote, loud and clear. When we vote, $1.79 for each vote goes to the party that was voted for. For every vote a non-green party loses, they lose that $1.79. When millions of people tell a power-hungry political party, "we're sick of your wars, your greed, and the way you supress the earth", then that party loses out on millions of dollars. In Canada, there is no such thing as a wasted vote when it comes to voting Green.
People have to get OUT of the mindset of saying, "I'll vote for the lesser of two evils." It's time to stop voting for the evils for once, and give good a chance!

The voter that votes a party line has wasted their vote and shamed the ones that worked with such earnest zeal to ensure a democracy of the people, by the people and for the people. Who I vote for is what has merit, If I cow down to some party line, I have not cast my vote, I have helped a few with a prearranged agenda.
If I voted all Green Party and there was one Yellow Party that I felt was better qualified to help the citizen, then I have done the democratic system as well as myself and fellow citizens an injustice.
If the Green Party in my opinion, places a better candidate on the ballot, they will earn my vote. But they will never buy it.

As good of an idea as this sounds in theory ... I couldn't do it. Republicans will vote Republican, regardless ... the only people who would be like to vote for a smaller party would be independents/unaffiliated -- who usually would otherwise vote Democrat. Basically to cast a ballot for one of these parties would only serve to take votes away from the Democrats ... and ensure that we'll have a Republican led country for another 4 years at least.

I would and do vote for 3rd party candidates on a local level and for Representatives on the national level. Possibly a Senator if they had a decent chance of winning.
For President though. Only 3rd party candidate that has had a chance is Ross Perot. So no I will vote in the lesser of two evils as far as President goes.

Nope! I am not voting for a third party to help put the Repubs in power because a Democrat lost votes to another party.
Give us a viable party where the person is on the ballot in all the states, not just a few! They have no chance, and I am not wasting my vote!

You just might have something there.. maybe it would wake up the other two parties to see that people really are sick of them both... and the games of politics. All about them.. nothing about the people or this country.

A green party vote is a wasted vote. It'll never happen.

I think people are considering the green party more often.
They may be a challenge to the gop and dems some day.
