For me I always feel I am part of iconic London when immersed in the busy crowds around Trafalgar Square or off The Strand and when I walk along the river on the South Bank side with St. Pauls, Big Ben, The Tower Bridge and London Eye enhancing the city's skyline. I love Borough Market on a Friday as well!
