It will continue to the point where the skin actually becomes raw and bleeding. Not to mention the stench. It also can spread to other parts of the body, like under the breasts, under the arms, etc..

What works for one woman, may not work for he other. In addition, if one amount of product worked the first time a yeast infection was noticed – next time might need more of the medication. Therefore, the yeast infection, specifically the candida albicans (the fungus that causes the infection), becomes more and more resistant to the medications. Soon, it seems as if the woman treats an infection, is doing fine for a week, then gets another one! As this may be true, it is more probable that the first yeast infection was not fully gone. If a woman has more than four yeast infections in one year, many doctors will test for more complex problems -- such as HIV or diabetes. Both HIV and diabetes tend to suppress the immune system – thereby lowering the body’s natural pH level – leaving a body more at risk for infection. Therefore, the recurring yeast infection may be treatable, but the medication may only be treating the symptoms – not the actual cause. Men can also carry a yeast infection without any symptoms – especially if he had intercourse with a woman who had a yeast infection. If you do come down with one, be sure that your man is treated for one as well. If not, you will just be passing a yeast infection back and forth forever! In addition, if the causes are not treated, then the yeast infection will return, and could return with a vengeance. The more yeast infections a woman gets, the more difficult it is to treat. Also, the more difficult it is to treat, then the worse the symptoms become, and the less they are relieved by modern medicine! You can try healthy home treatments if you want before seeing a doctor. There are some cited in the source.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMDab
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

I have answered a similar question to this before.
YEAST INFECTIONS CAN BE helped with Bicarb soda in water.
Make two litres of warm water and dissolve three tablessppond of bicarb soda in it.
WASH YOUR INSIDES WITH THIS....It will ease the pain .. change the ph level of your vagina and therefor the yeast will not grow.
If you are in a sexual reationship. YOur boyfriend will have to go to the doctors and get some cream that he will have to use according tpo the instuctions on the box.
THRUSH is also an oral problem so if you are indulging in oral sex then you will have to gargle the bicarb and water.
so will he.
Do you use and eat a lot of sugar....TRY EATING YOGHURT with asidopholis in it Yukult is one that is available in australia.
Perhaps a dietition can advise you on a diet that will reduce the infections.
Diabetics usually have an ongrowning battle with thrush.
IF the bicarb doeant work after a few days of doing the abouve treatment I would suggest the you might be mistaking thrush fora STD

Other than going crazy from the itch, I'm not sure, but I think it's unlikely to be a positive result. When you have an infection such as this, the yeast is using you as its food source, and eventually you're going to get tissue damage, at the very least.

You'll scratch your girlie parts right off! The infection will just get worse and worse. You don't want it to go from the vagina then up to the uterus and beyond. Extremely painful!
Go to the doctor and get the yeast infection pills! They work super duper good! Not nearly as messy as the creams!
