The system requirements for it are pretty high. Try to lower the graphics settings on the game and see how it runs then. The absolute minimum you need for that game ram wise is 512mb. The more you have, the better. That's probably what the problem is. When you attack there's a lot going on at once. But if you lower the graphics settings it should make it run a little better. You could also lower the population.

Ya I got the game too and it does that unless you have a great computer. If you lower the detail from high as well as the other options just take them off high. Don't worry the game still looks great even when not using the best settings.
