Growth hormone (GH) is a hormone that stimulates growth and cell reproduction in humans and other animals. It is a 191-amino acid, single chain polypeptide hormone which is synthesized, stored, and secreted by the somatotroph cells within the lateral wings of the anterior pituitary gland. The hormone is also known as somatotrophin when referring to growth hormone produced by recombinant DNA technology, and is abbreviated "rhGH". Growth hormone has a variety of functions in the body, the most noticeable of which is the increase of height throughout childhood, and there are several diseases which can be treated through the therapeutic use of GH. AND A steroid is a terpenoid lipid characterized by a carbon skeleton with four fused rings, generally arranged in a 6-6-6-5 fashion. Steroids vary by the functional groups attached to these rings and the oxidation state of the rings. Hundreds of distinct steroids are found in plants, animals, and fungi. All steroids are made in cells either from the sterol lanosterol (animals and fungi) or the sterol cycloartenol (plants). Both sterols are derived from the cyclization of the triterpene squalene.[1] so maybe after reading this u could find some different stuff

well the main difference is that a pro is more skilled. the pro gets a better pay as well, as the amateur gets paid less. lets take soccer for an example. ok we have the best player in this time ronaldinho against an amateur such as giovanni dos santos which are in the same team bacelona but dos santos has just started his career. ok ronaldinho will be more prepared mentally physically as dos santos is learning and preparing building the skill its just matter of time

The main difference is that a pro uses the sport as his main source of income, whereas an amateur makes money by other means.

ok, lets use baseball as an example.....amateur play for no wages....the game is the same ..the preparation is the same... the skill level is not the same........
than you have a semi-professional -minor league-....they end up of farm teams for major clubs with a salary..but the pay is way less than professionals get..the preparation is the same with an incentive to better their playing skill... their skill level is above amateurs but not quite up to the pro level yet......if they improve their level of playing..they might get bumped up to the professional level.....more money....
than you get professional...they are players who are suppose to be some of the best in their sport........they get the big contracts...the preparation is the same ...except maybe more of an incentive to keep getting better....because if they slack off they could end up losing a lot of money and if they play really badly.....and they can be sent down to the minors....never to be in the pro's again.......

In pro sports, u will be signing a contract to play for a certain pro franchise and for how long. u will be hired as wat ur skill is. for ex., in pro football, u will be hired to play defense..u will be training with ur team in their training facilities, including mental and physical. in most cases if not all, u will be getting bonuses if ur team wins, or even loses, in terms of percentage from the gate receipts, or even get bonuses for individual performance. all this is specified in ur contract. even team events like sports clinic or any team sponsored events outside the playing field, u will also be present. that is because every pro team is a product, so if u sign with them, u will also be ensdorsing their team. u will not be allowed to play outside any league sanctioned games. so in reality, the league and ur team owns u. u will be signing also a player's uniform contract with the league which specifies all the details of ur employment, incl., travel, hotel, & food allowances, behavior, etc. u will also pay taxes. where as in amateur sports, u will not be allowed to have a contract to show ur sporting skill, so technically, u are not employed. u will not collect salaries. u can also have parallel job. some amateur athletes are soldiers. In US NCAA, student-athletes are even not allowed to receive gifts of any form. they are compensated in form of scholarships.
