Hi everyone. My sweetheart is the biggest Spurs fan in the world and I want to treat him to something really romantic on Valentines Day. I would book tickets to a match but I'm really broke, what can I do? Any useful suggestions would be much appreciated, without any references to his choice of team!

Ring up ya bank & get ya credit card sorted or get a small loan or get an O/D. Once money is sorted ya can get him his tickets.

Katie, he's very lucky to have someone putting so much effort into his present. Im a long suffering Spurs fan too, and my other half woke me up last Valentines day, with breakfast in bed and a card. Wearing nothing but heels and a spurs shirt...... We didn't get up til dinner time! Hope its a good idea and have fun if you do it!

as a man the strip strip idea is top and costs nothing. but if you have some money to spend do the tour! sometimes you can get tickets really cheap online and at the gate to games that arent too popular like cup replays etc. so its worthwhile to keep your eyes open. some stuff at the shop is cheap to but not always the best.

My borther had the same problem he wanted to get my dad and i tickets but couldnt afford it, so he went on the website www.tottenhamhotspur.com and he got us a tour of the stadium. This cost £8 for an adult and it is an hour tour of the inside of the stadium. you get to go in the dressing rooms down to the pitch and all around the ground, I cant wait till we go and i think your bloke would love it.

Peace

Might give you some ideas. Alternatively, take him to a pub to watch the 2nd leg of the Semi v Arsenal & buy him a kebab on the way home, after all, it's the thought that counts!
