Hello, I am from India and it's the first time I'm visiting USA... I'll have to stay at different cities for different periods of time!

How do I find cheap yet safe accomodation for 3 months in Kentucky (or any other city)?

What should I be cautious about?

How much will it cost for a safe and cheap accomodation in a city-suburb?

Thanks a lot

You will have a hard time renting "safe and cheap... in a city-suburb" without having proof of recent work history in the US and A. Your best bet is likely extended-stay properties such as Suburban Lodge, Extended Stay America, Savannah Suites, Springhill Suites or similar hotel chains. These have a small kitchen, bathroom, sleeping, and small living area for about the same price per night as a budget hotel, because you rent them by weeks instead of days.

Sometimes you can find Hotels that will offer "Extended Stays". Basically you just stay in the hotel the whole time, you get whatever they offer, Cleaning maids, Comp Breakfast, pool, whatever and you pay a discounted rate.

Check out various Hotel websites and if it doesn't say on the hotel websites then e-mail and ask. Try

Hotels.com or cheaprooms.com or Cheapapartments.com

right here contained in the US, expenditures fluctutate alot relying on the position on once you're travelling. So we would want extra information to respond to this question. In lengthy island city you cant get a first rate hotel for some thing less than 250$ regularly, and in case you want 5 movie star it will be close to to one thousand/evening.
