okay first...relax! i had this problem too my first few times...i ended up giving up for about the first 4 months i tried to do it! anyway i find that if u squat like on the instructions it's a bit hard to insert because your body naturally leans forward too much to let the tampon in easily. try putting a leg up on the bath instead. go slowly at first and remember to aim slightly up and back at the same time. it might help to rotate the tampon slowly while you push. use a finger on your free hand to find the right place before you put the tampon in and then once you're on the way to success...keep going until you cant feel the tampon anymore...probably about half a finger length will have to go inside you behind the tampon to get it in far enough. don't forget to wash your hands properly before and after. it gets much easier and faster to do very quickly. good luck

Make sure you are inserting it correctly. The easiest way to do it is to crouch down with your legs spread. Hold the tampon with your thumb and middle finger, use your index finger to push it in. Angle the tampon so it goes in right. It should tell you on the paper in the tampon box how to insert it properly.

squat deep and don't get stressed. you need that area to be relaxed. if it helps, get a mirror so you can see what you're doing. use an applicator if it's your first time - some women choose this method forever, but it's especially important for someone just starting out. and remember when you can't feel it anymore, it's properly in place.
on another note, have you asked a friend or mum or similar to talk you through this? they can offer more help than someone over the internet.
good luck. and plastic applicators are best! cardboard is yucky in my mind. rounded tip. the pearl is easiest for me.

Okay...Don't laugh, but I think I can help you.
Is this your first time using one? Sometimes it can be difficult especially if you're very young and not yet sexually active. Just try to relax and not stress while "applying".
If you've used them before and you're just having trouble, try some KY jelly...it sometimes helps.

why cant you? u need to have ur vagina wide open and stuck it in there. No need to rush. There's plenty of time. Sprinkle a bit of water and once u put it in you'll feel something...
