How do I validate a Singaporean company?

I need to check the companies existence and validity.

All companies in Singapore need to be registered under ACRA. Go to:
www.bizfile.gov.sg

Then click on the first link titled:
Directory of Companies/Businesses/Limited Liability Partnership/Public Accounting Firm Names

You then punch in the company's name to see if it is valid.
