Bad use of science-Edward Teller's entire career! He advocated "winnable" nuclear wars.
Bad use of science-Eugenics! It was backed by many scientists-American and German. It resulted in the unnecessary sterilization of many deemed unfit!
Good use of science-Invention of the Internet.
Good use of science-penicillin, pasteurization, and most medical research.

One very good example can be taken of Nuclear Science.
The bad one was a nuclear bomb killed thousands of innocent people in Japan.
The good one is now when we r running short of fossil n non renewable source of energy, we r dependent on Nuclear Power to fulfill our energy requirements at present n in future.
