yes she can...the violation isn't in using 'God's name in vain,' rather the violation is in using inappropriate language in school. It sounds like you're trying to force a religious argument where there isn't one- i give you credit for that! After high school and college, you should really consider Law School...those are just the creative type of arguments that makes a good law student & lawyer...fight the action w/ your argument if the threat is ever carried out- maybe the principal will be so uncomfortable or 'threatened' by your reasoning that he'll just give you a slap on the wrist- then argue that you deserve an apology!

It depends on the school and it's rules and regulations. If it was pointed out that such abuse is punishable by being reported to the office and you knew this, yes they can.
Plus did you use it while speaking back to this person? That maybe the reason for the report. Not the usage of God's name but that you spoke to this person in a unfavorable fashion

Yes. Check the student hand book on profanity.
If for no other reason than that you were disruptive. The office is the least of your problems if you keep offending God.

hmm..depends on where you go to school....at my Episcopalian high school it was unacceptable to use god's name in vain..as it is stated in the bible...
But if youre a at public school ..she more than likely cant send you to the office for saying it...most likely would give u a slip that says "disorderly conduct" rather than "said God in class"

Yep. The class belongs to her. If you have a problem with that, you should stay home and use gods name in vain with your parents.

Depends on the rules at your particular school. Is it a religious school? Is it a particularly religious community?

She has a right to command respect and that's obviously disrespectful to her. In order to prevent chaos she has to have the respect of the students.

No one can ever threaten any person or institution because of a faith-based reason. Really no one can legally threaten anyone.

I think she can do that because it offends people and that is exactly what a profanity is meant to do. You also should not show disrespect to God whether you believe in Him or not just as you would not want people to show disrespect to your beliefs.
