And before you start getting all cheesed off at the question, ask yourself this: Am I really that concerned with Jesus' skin color, or am I being baited to give a rash response by the asker?

As soon as i saw the question i thought you were as we put it "fishing".
Anyway these days who cares what colour jesus was- its the message that is important. But having said that I do think it would have made a big difference if he had of been radically different from those around him. If Jesus was black in a non "black" society it would have made him highly "visable" and once he started to behave in the radical manner that he did- I am sure that he would have very quickly attracted some very negative attention both from the community and the overseeing forces. I dont think Jesus would have been able to do the things he did or get the message out if he visually/behavourally different from the community's expectations, after all groups prefer conformity and non-conformity was in the end what got Jesus into trouble. Being non conformist on several points would probably only have hastened his demise.

Jesus was a Jewish man from Galilee. Probably dark in color.
As the asker, are you baiting?

I wasn't there, so I do not know. There are no pictures of the man, so it can not BE known...Furthermore, I don't think it matters. Does it? I think he would tell us to stop caring at all about the color of our own skin, let alone someone else's.
