You need a video file converter. I use this one & it always works fine (even for RM files) :

Manufacturer site:
http://www.winavi.com/en/video-converter/video-converter.htm

Third party download :

Well simplest way is to create a VCD from Nero Burning s/w, instead of a data cd, if this atall doesnt works u can find a convertor to change the file format.

Your using something like Nero aren't you? Usually you could burn by simply dragging files to a disk then clicking burn if your using Win XP..

Open that same file from quicktime player and save it as avi file.
any burner will then recognise the avi format file.

if u want only burn ur cd, then just make a data cd...., if u make a data cd, then the writting software will write all types of files...

if not get success, then try to make the disc directly frm ur file... right click on ur file or folder, then choose SEND, then choose ur cd drive... then right click on ur cd drive & choose WRITE THESE FILES TO CD..... it will compatible for all types of files...
