id rather walk away. once the feeling of trust and comfort which existed since you met is gone, no amount of goodwill from either side will repair the damage. its best to move on and hope that each person finds happiness, or love (a word so overused that it has lost all emotional attachment) elsewhere.

Usually what happens is you admit it and then the other person walks away, they don't see the real you, then you walk away with a sense of self worth.

If you're going to lose them... I would just walk away. Unless telling them you love them might make a difference in whether they walk or not.
