it is made by fusing soda ash(anhydrous sodium carbonae),sand, limestone.its molecular formulae is na2o.cao.6sio2 and it is the cheapest glass and is easily attacked by chemicals

Soda-Lime Glass
- composed of lime, silica and soda melted at a relatively low temperature, is easy to form, has good chemical durability and is inexpensive.

sodium oxide is nasty. It is the safe carbonate that is used. The calcium oxide is used and is better known as lime. Not quite so nasty.

In terms of reactivity, normal glass is pretty much the same as borosilicate glass, so you can use it for storage. However, due to the different compositions, there may be some more leaching of cations (mainly sodium and potassium), but that happens in borosilicate glasses, too, and should not be very important except for trace analytics.
