Mehron body paint is the absolute best. It can be thinned out with water and goes on with sponges or paint brushes. It provides terrific coverage for full-body application (very economical)

All the smurfs are blue. It is best to have it in the house of someone you do not like the most, because cerulean blue stains on couches and the rest of the furniture can be valid as reason for divorce.
Hide the dog, leave out old throwable towels in the bathroom, and drape old sheets on places the little smurfs will sit down

I would shop around costume stores, and ask about the safest blue make-up. As for the body, it would probably be safer and easier to wear blue skin-tight long sleeve shirts, or even a blue leotard or unitard. Red or white dancing tights would be good for the hips and the legs. White or red knit hats would be nice as well.

I would have thought the light blue food coloring they use for cake icing. Sounds like a great party. Have a smurfin’ good time! (And, if someone shows up calling himself Doctor Manhattan, DON’T LET HIM IN!
