I agree with you. I think its shameful that people can buy their dog $90 bottles of water, and 10 miles away, kids are hungry and uneducated. No one cares what happens to the next guy, because their to busy being afraid of what they stand to loose.
Do I think communism could grow to control the world? Think of the lazy guy at work, he would make the same salary as you! And it goes up from there.
Although I don't think communism is the key, I do believe we should spend more time coming up with solutions to fix the problem. We are one race, separated by imaginary lines.

ok, here is why communism will never work on a large scale no matter how good it looks on paper. First and formost, humans as a whole are not communistic. People want to strive for more and not just be like everyone else. Second, communism destroys progress and the economy. no one wants to try and make a new product or a new buisness or try hard and be a doctor if they know that they will be able to get the same amount of money doing a very simple job such as working in a factory. Third communism works by haveing the goverment regulate what is made, but realistically the goverment cant know that.
in capitalism, on the other hand, people are motivated by one thing: money. this causes them to want to do more and be better to get more money. someone is willing to make the best soft drink ever or work harder at there position in a company if he thinks his time and effort will pay off. so basically what i'm getting at is communists are slackers. Karl Marx was living in la la land where everyone was thinking of what was best for everyone. Why do you think there has never been a true communist country. Every nation claiming to be communist did it as an excuse to seize eveyones everything. None were following communist ideals, becasue no one wants them or think they want them and then realize they dont want them when they are buying black market bread when the goverment lines are too long. the most you could do is tell people what they want, and then you've already lost them. yeah, capitalism rules

I hope never.I hope people won't have to go through this experience ever again...We in eastern Europe had enough of Communism and we wouldn't want ever again to live under a Communist government...
As someone who lived in a Communist country I can assure you that people are not equal according to the rulers. There too the majority lived under poverty , the people didn't had access to good educational facility or health facility...As for food, most of the food, most of the times you couldn't find not even the basic food...Communism is not a solution...

Never...unless everyone wants to step backwards about 70 years. I doubt if anyone would succeed in establishing that. Just the word in itself, instills fear in people who are over 50. Yes, they are all treated the same, but there is no belief system of anything higher than the leader. It could work in a country filled with atheism, but not when the population is 86% Christian. I don't want anything to do with communism, but it's an interesting question.

It never will. It's a failed economic system. Pure communism only exists in one nation, that is North Korea. There if you want equal opportunity, you can be like two-thirds of their population--starve. Communist systems will always implode because it stagnates not only the will of the people, but it also pushes against the free enterprise system which brings out the best talents of society.

Human nature does not allow for communism to flourish on a large scale. That being said, it will never control the world. I have been to a commune here in the States, and it worked fine. But, it was less than a hundred people, not 1.6 billion.
