You seem to already have your mind (and I use the term loosely) made up.
He ISN'T hiding it! But a lot of ignorant people do not realize that "Hussein" is as common a name as John. And then they make the incorrect assumption that the name is somehow tied to Saddam Hussein. Anything that even seems Middle Eastern is viewed with fear and skepticism in the US, and somehow linked to "terrorism" in the minds (again, loosely used) of US citizens.
Come on, People, use your brains!!!!

He was elected for 12 years to the State Senate of Illinois, and was elected to the United States Senate with his middle name. Why do you think he has hidden it? Don't you think that would have become an issue long ago if he had tried? By the way, you misspelled his last name. It's: OBAMA. I guess it's not too early for the smear tactics to begin...

He isn't trying to hide his middle name. You are trying to make his middle name an issue and it's not. No one calls me "Edward", my middle name and I would imagine 90% of my friends don't know it.
