I think he deserved it, he did play better than Oliver Kahn.
And he made a big comeback from his knee injurey.
And he had one of the best World Cups ever.

He deserved it. He was the best player in the world at the moment and in the World Cup. He was amazing and no keeper could stop his creativity with the ball. He was a god with the ball.

in 2002 I think he deserved it for sure the other player is oliver kahn with chances to win he and ballack put germany in final of world cup but he miss in final,and ronaldo put him a crazy goal so ronaldo for me in 2002 deserved it the trophy

I think that he deserved more than just a golden ball.he played like a pro(which he is),but he played his best ever.Sadly the 2006 world cup wasn't so good for him or brazil as he had just returned from injury.

I think its a toss-up between Ronaldo and Oliver Khan before the final game was played. But when Brazil won, they have to give it to Ronaldo.

ronaldo is choosen best player ,in world cup 2002 he is sufring from obesity but he plays so well so i think that he is a good player
