I always wondered if a space ship traveled in the same direction would there be an end to space? Everything we know has a beginning and and end. So what is the end of the universe like?

Nobody knows that how big the universe is, but atranomers estimated that it contains almost 100 billlion galaxies, each comprising of an average of 100 billion stars.According to me, what I know is most accepted theory by asstronomers is of the BIG BANG.It's a huge explosion which occured b/w 10 to 20 billlion yrs. ago.The Universe initially consisited of a hot, dense fire ball of expanding cooloing gas. After about 1 million yrs., the gas probably bagan to condense into localized clumps called protogalxies. It continued condensing till 5 billion yrs forming galaxies and new stars in it.today billions of yrs. later, the universe as a whole is still expanding. The asronomers donot ye know that if the unoverse is CLOSED that is ,it will stop exoanding or if it is OPEN that it will be expanding forever.I KNOW IT'S A LONG ANSWER BUT READ IT.PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Physics masters, professors and students endlessly debate on this very question--and so born are infinite answers and speculations. I guess this is why it's somewhat agreed on that space itself is infinite.

Some theorize space is shaped like a bannana; others think it's more dough-nut shaped. Me? I think eventually, the Enterprise eventually is going to see ahead that dead cut spot in space where there are NO stars and ALL the density of a quatri-billion black holes. In short: the Captain better order the ship to hit the brakes fast---or the Enterprise smacks into compressed molecules, much like the degenration of glass meeting a bullet.

And how embarrassing would THAT be to Picard and crew?

We can consciously keep traveling further and further out into space, as long as we can sustain our life and conscious sensibilities (awareness), vital logistics, along with meaningful communication, with our mother planet. Afterwards, too, we may keep traveling as space debris, for as long as scientists on Earth are able to monitor us, and even beyond that (!), until we dissolve into the elements of space, hopefully, to be recycled again, somewhere in the Great Universe. Matter and energy can be inter-converted, but the sum total of the two, as we know it, cannot be destroyed.

>If I even have pushed an entire of 250,000 miles in my existence how far am i able to shuttle into outer area? you may pass approximately as far through fact the Moon, that's greater or less 384399 kilometers (238854 miles) remote from the Earth. >If yet another billion human beings did the same and all of us linked our miles the place might we be in outer area together, you might have long previous an entire of 250 trillion miles. it fairly is a few 40 two.52776 easy years, meaning you may pass to Proxima Centauri, the closest celebrity to the sunlight, and back 5 cases and have approximately 2 trillion miles left over.
