Didn't see much of Pele, so i'll say the best in the past is Maradona. Right now,
Best playmaker is Zidane; most entertaining is Ronaldinho; best goal getter is Henry; and coz its all about entertainment i'd say Ronaldinho is the best in the business right now.

it was maradona and pele in the past.zinedin zidane and figo before and in the fifa world cup 2006 but the current best football player is cristiano ronaldo of portugal and club manchester united.his scoring run is great and his team work,passing,heading ability,shoots and also his speed are all great.his driblling and his dodges are all great to watch.
