-Right click your desktop then click on Properties
-click on the Desktop tab then change your background wallpaper to something else that doesnt use active-desktop

If you cant bootup then boot up into safe mode (click F8 on bootup) then follow the prompts above

By changing your wallpaper you automatically turn off active-desktop

search type name when it`s done delete it
