That's a little pricey! For any new Microsoft operating system, especially before the first service pack is issued, it's probably best to go with twice the RAM and HD requirements. And since it's not yet Jan 30, I hope that that Windows Vista Home Basic is legal!

Its a good deal... with the dual core you will be pleased.. the only concern I would have is the 1gig of ram with Windows Vista... if anything I would grab a little more ram...

don't go with home ultimate, there's not enough new features in home basic to warrant spending money for it now. Wait til SP1 comes out. Get more memory and a different version of Vista

I think is a great deal, I'll get the Memory update if I were you and I recommended when you buy a laptop to check battery life.. long it will last? because the last one I bought in 1 1/2 hours was gone.

Considering Vista sells FROM $250 I think its not a bad deal because you could probably sell it for more in six months or at the least get your money back ;)

in case you prefer something for music, merely pass get an IPOD and in case you prefer a working laptop or pc, then get an amazing pc. I even have an HP DV5 and that i like it. you additionally can use it for music and it has super not undemanding rigidity area. verify it out.

Great deal but are u sure it has vista? it might just be capable of vista. they usually have xp. make sure
