I find MONEY magazine very good source of information for investing but its a bit in depth if you are a beginner. I recommend you to subscribe to it and pick things up one bit at a time.

There are number of books available in the market from which you can learn aoout the share market and the fundamental of the trading. But now many good companies had come in this field of proividing brokership and the plateform for the trading in the shares. You can visit any reputed company office and you will be guided properly.
