Why yellow?! who chose that color? why weren't the sticky pads just white paper? is there any specific reason that you know of? just curious. thanks for any help!

They were made to show up on white paper...not to blend in. Yellow was chosen because it is the color that is easiest on the eye.

It is the same concept as street cones and warning signs. They were made that specific color to be seen, noticed and remembered.

Because hypothetically, yellow is much easier to see.
