Many people vote Democrat or Republican, then complain about the results. But since the U.S. is a democracy, did you know you can vote for anyone you want? There are more than two choices.

When it comes down to it in November of 2008, and we are given two pathetic options as we have been given that last several elections, keep in mind that you don't have to choose one or the other.

OK, so this isn't a question so much as a public service announcement, but I'm getting tired of being told I have to choose one or the other.

I'll vote for Mickey Mouse if I so please.

to counter your question I will ask you a question...
Are you aware that you do NOT have a choice at all and that no matter what party we elect it will always and only serve the interest of large corporations?
This is not a Democracy it is an Oligarchy.
Get out of your brainwashed day dream and realize the only time the govt is interested in us is when the corporations are, the economy must keep moving so that the corporations continue to get more money, at times the relationship is symbiotic and at other times it is parasitic.

Yes , but the problem is in 2000 the supreme court forced everyone to declared thier party allegaince on thier ballots (sounds sorta pinko too me) so if you alleganince your self with a third party republicans and democrats will blackball you and insure you will never be able to run for office, oh and the libertarians are on that band wagon to in case you were wondering.

yeah, true, but sometimes you need to choose the lesser of 2 evils (dem/rep) because if you vote for a third party, youll basically be taking a vote from who you want to win between the dem and rep candidate.

The question is "why aren't these people serving our interests?" I wouldn't care if they called themselves Satanists if they did their jobs.

Please vote LIBERTARIAN!!! You get the benefit of both: Democrats' purported freedom on social issues and Republicans' purported freedom on economic issues.
