with a black man? Is that the only reason she is allowed to continue in her job?

2007-01-29 17:59:10 · 13 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics & Government Other - Politics & Government

To clarify;

From a white male perspective (and that is important as the white male rules the world,) having a black woman in a power position is ok as long as she's not sleeping with a black man.

That is the thought process I believe is running through most white male minds, albeit in the back, but still, that is the hidden message she was put there to send.

I am basing this on the sociological studies of the elite and how they use their research to manipulate public opinion.

Because basically America is a total paradox ever exist to every human life. America is a volatile place right now... Sorry to say. From there comes all the greatness of life, but also derives all the dreadful lifestyle...
Since America ages only more less 600 years old, so America is considered as one of the youngest countries in the world.
Yes America helped and helps for many positive humanitarian things in this world. America do have such a big contribution to this world, but at the same time America also really display and portray how shameful, horrendous, shallow and wicked they are towards many things in this life. America creates order BUT also chaos at the same time...
They make not only fantastic war movies but also make the REAL wars in reality.... and they do enjoy wars like playing playstation. They are full of hope and greatness but they are also full of hatred, anger, wickednesses and hang ups. American lives their life in such a spectacular way compare to other countries on this planet. But at the same time American do live in such a tiny bubble and fuzzy dreams ever. America is smarter than smart, but they also stupider than stupid.
America is the chaos and the order at the same time-. America not only makes great creations to the world but also painful and traumatic destructions emotionally or physically..... for sure.

Condi is a very intelligent woman. I really don't think it has anything to do with her race. As far as her not being with a man? Cripes, I don't know how she'd even find the time, let alone the energy. You realize that after people reach a certain age that we do slow down the dating game. She probably just does not have the incentive to start a new relationship because of time constraints.

Ya kinda' have to think of it this way. Say your girlfriend was in Condi's place and she had that job. She would be traveling 85 percent of the time and you would rarely, if ever, get a chance to see her. Now, you could say..well love is love no matter how far apart we are, but wouldn't you get tired of being alone? Sure, there's always the phone, but is that really the same as sharing any type of quality time together?

I know if I was in Condi's position I wouldn't want to start any serious relationships either. It's not the same, but I don't have a place of my own to live; my ex-husband is being kind enough to let me stay until I can fen for myself. I would love to have a kitten; however, this is not my own place, and I couldn't feel comfortable asking him to accept a pet, when he would rather not have pets in the apartment. Some people are just more considerate than others in not wanting to create a situation that isn't really comfortable for both people.

No, this is not proper to perpetrate racial hatred. Perpetrating racial hatred is extremely different to expressing an opinion subsidized up by potential of reasoned argument. i count number on free speech yet besides imagine we ought to charm to the line someplace - and that i might want to draw the line every time there is no reasoned argument and the "speech" will change into ignorant and abusive insanity. i have not come for the time of anti-Jewish posts the following - yet i do not forget that YA can now and again look like a communicate board for racists. I have a tendency to imagine that this variety of communicate board is likely to charm to extreme perspectives of dissimilar varieties and all we are able to do is proceed to state our own perspectives as frivolously and quite as a threat, interior the attempt that we'd be ready to grant an option aspect of view.

What in the world are you talking about? Condi Rice is acceptable because she is an extremely intelligent and well qualified individual. What would her being seen with a black man have to do with anything? And how can her not being seen with a black man imply anything about racial hatred being deeply ingrained in America? I'm really trying to understand your question, but it isn't even remotely logical.

*after your clarification I'm a little clearer on what your asking. As a white male, I couldn't care less who Rice is with. In fact, I can honestly say that until your question, I'd never even thought about it.

Like picking a jury for a high profile court case, Condoleeza Rice was chosen because of her demographic fit what was deemed saleable at the time. This was not about racial hatred but just the opposite. She had to fill the slot. And in the end she delivered the goods. She is a "skirt the issues", firmly and intelligently vague, careless about our countries true future, young upwardly mobile black woman she was paid to be. She is happy with the outcome too. Because as far up Bush's *** her foot is, it is wearing a Manolo Blahnik.

Condi Rice I do not think is accepted by the black community.
I think she is allowed to continue in her job because she is qualified and smart. I am sure she could talk and run circles around me.
It took a black man telling me he was black to even notice racism. I never even noticed he was black until he told me he was pulled over for being black. I would vote for her for president married or not above every other politician except for Newt or Mitt.

Racial hatred is synonymous with stupidity in my book. It's the same as newscasters predicting Obama will get all the black votes. I am not black, but I consider that an insult to anyone in this country that is. African-Americans should be given credit for voting based on their intelligence and not on their race.

Condi Rice is acceptable because she is ten times more intelligent than you. Racial hatred will never go away. We cannot escape the fact that we are animals and animals stick to their own species.

I think it's the fact that she's super smart. That's why she's accepted.

Plus, Republicans LOVE black Republicans. LOVE them. They love to say, "See how diverse we are???"

The Republicans hit the jackpot with her. So smart. Very articulate. She's very poised and has lots of class. She looks fantastic standing up there behind Bush. Many people dislike her, but that's politics.

Bottom line: I think it's more accurate to say that she's accepted for her many good qualities, rather than saying she's accepted because of something she lacks.

Oh please. She is simply too ambitious and independent a woman to get married. Why should she be judged on that standard? I think she will do well in negotiations between Palestine and Israel, since the Left has never solved the problem.

Bill Clinton's efforts should be congratulated but he was up against Yasser Arafat.
