Yes. A real point guard is the missing piece to the puzzle for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavs have plenty of outside shooting in Donyell Marshall, Damon Jones, Larry Hughes, and LeBron himself. Even Z can take a 15-18 foot jumper when he needs to. They don't need any more outside scoring.
To be honest, they don't even need a point guard. Eric Snow is the best defender on the team, and he handles the ball quite well. The problem is what happens to the team when LeBron gets the ball. Everything stops. Players take a few seconds, then it's like this light turns on in their head and they say, "oh, I have to go set a pick now."
LeBron has all the skills and all the talent possible, and he has a great team around him. The Cavs don't need to trade for anyone. What they need is for Coach Brown to work on some better plays for them on offense, and to establish themselves more on defense. Once they do that, they will go all the way.

No..I believe they should trade for someone like a Ray Allen...Get arid of Hughes and some others hes a good player but not the pure shooter they need..Lebron can handle the guard pos. he needs someone he can give the ball to.. You get a shooter in there things will happen Lebron will draw double even triple teams and who would that leave open..would you rather have Andre Miller shottin or Allen,a mike miller,or Gasol to name a few since his team is slowly but surely gonna disappear. It;s not a Point Gaurd they need its someone at the wing or down low.

I think the cavs should get a good shooter on Shooting guard position. That Larry Hughes is overrated. They should trade him while he's still has some value.
Take Raja Bell or maybe Brent Barry.

yes, a real pg would help lebron focus on scoring and defense. of course, miller wouldn't be available for anyone on the cavs other than lebron or a package of maybe hughes and gooden or something, and the money there wouldn't work

No, they are in desparate need of outside shooting. Andre Miller is a good assist guy, but he's also a driver who can't stretch the defense with outside shooting.
