which type of samba is harder?

ok so i dance samba but i gotta learn ballroom for a class. is ballroom hard?

Ballroom samba is not hard at all if you already know other type of dancing. Just don't "insist" on doing it the way you know - treat it as a different dance. Of cource, every dance becomes hard if you want to do it at a professional level. Samba is no exception, and it is considered one of the harder ballroom dances. It requires a lot of core strength and foot strength if you want to do it at a professional level.

Basic ballroom samba is a lot of fun, and the basic patterns are not difficult at all. Like anything else, if you want it to be perfect you'll have to work at it , but there's a lot of enjoyment to be had with even simple figures at the beginning level.
