Sure they do. They will need their jump shooters to be hot, but the Eastern Conference is there for the taking. I don't see any teams in the East that they couldn't beat in a 7 game series.

well anybody from the eastern conference could make it to the the finals right now because none of these teams are that good this year people can say Miami or Detroit but i seen my New York Knicks put it on both of those teams and remember last years playoffs the Chicago Bulls took the Miami heat to 6 games and they had a chance to win that round ... so right now the Eastern Conference is up in the air i say lets wait until All Star weekend is over and lets see what teams will step there game up then we can see who is the best in the east and maybe see who will make it to the NBA Finals but now who knows

well yeah, coz the east is'nt competitve, right now their third in the run for a playoff spot and they have good defense unlike most other east teams like the wizards, the nets, cavaliers, but thier problem is their offense, they should step up their offense and stop depending on 3-point shooting, they also need a big man in the middle that can score(Pau Gasol?).
