I just read about torrents and stuff on various sites and decided to try it out myself.I installed Azureus 2.5.0.4 from their website and I want to Install it.I am completely clueless about how to install it and what precautions I should take.I have a 1.5mbps internet connection if that matters.I just wanna download songs and Mp3's not movies and all.Please give me a step by step guide from the point i click on the set-up file to the point i start downloading my fav mp3.And keep it simple as I am new to this stuff!!

Thanks for the tip,But i hate clients like limewire.They are filled with crap.I just wanna try out torrents.Maybe in the future I would even download movies and stuff!!!

Welcome to torrent world
1.First of all if u want to install Azureus u must hava java in u r system.If u dont have download from www.java.com...latest version and save it in ur disk...dont go for online...go for the second option offline download..
2.After installing java...download new version of Azureus 3.0..0.3
from www.azureus.com, as the old version will not work...
start installing select the port and use beginner..
3.to add torrent file..first u have to download torrent file any torrent site.By search in torrent site u can find any file Suppose go to torrentspy.com,their in search type "Don",results will be shown below,check the Health&seeders of that file Green means good health and then add to azures,u have to check how many seeders are there if there are more seeders than u can download it without any hurddle.
4.U can stop it any time,right click stop
5.if u want to start again right click queue..

You need Latest Version of Azureus and Latest Version of Java Runtime Environment.
You can use google.com to go to Azureus download page where you would find both in one location.
Both are simple next...next...next type of installations. No Configurations needed.
First time when you run Azureus it would run a Wizard which would ask you some details, simply click next..next...next.
Now azureus would be running in system tray.
Go to www.torrentz.com ( is a torrent search engine) and serach for what you are looking.
Download the torrent file and double click to open it. This would open Azureus and would ask where to save the file. Point a location on your hard disk and the file would be started downloading, Once done you can go to the specified folder and copy the file to a different location.
