I have no idea why they like Hanoi Jane, but I for one will detest her to the end of my days.

No one died as a result of what Jane Fonda did. She did not cause the deaths of thousands of American troops, That is a lie.
Jane Fonda went to North Viet Nam because she thought the war was wrong. Though she made mistakes during her time there, her intentions were good. Like so many others in the United States, she wanted the truth to come out about what our government was doing there and she wanted the war to end. To have denied these feelings would have been a deep betrayal of herself.
Her biggest crime was wanting to bring the troops home so that none of them would die. Why is that so bad.

What they should have done was put her in prison and charged her with high treason for collaborating with the enemy. And you are right about what she did. I remember that, and the pictures can still be found on the web sites today....of 'ole Hanoi Jane...the witch. I don't know what truth seeker was reading, but it is all a lie to smooth over what she did. He obviously was not born then, and if he was is too young to remember. But those of us who were old enough to understand SAW the truth, and know the truth...not from tabloids either. My ex was over there when she was there on her 'peace mission' and he saw the crass crap she pulled with the enemy. He didn't have to read about it after the fact. Mistake my Hannie...she knew darn well right what she did and said there. All she managed to do was put our guys in harms way even more than they were.

When I was still a Democrat, I didn't support Jane Fonda or any celebrities spouting their self-righteous views in the media.
I tend to think for myself. That's why I'm Independent now.

Why are people worried about what happend back in Viet Nam, but forget that the same thing is happening in Iraq?
As to Jane Fonda - it was 50 years ago - get over it already. Nobody cares about her any more.

Democrats support anyone who hates America. Look at John Kerry and his little meeting with the former Iranian president or Jim Mcdermont meeting with Saddam before the Iraqi war.

"No life is more valuable than that of your fellow countryman."
I sure wish Bush would have learned that lesson prior to September 11, 2001. We'd have a whole different world to live in right now; a better one.
PS. Jane Fonda needs to retire and leave the patriots alone. We do not need her help.
