Well.....Steve, PERRY that is, has not been a member of JOURNEY since 1996. It was Steve AUGERI, until the Summer of 2006. Now, it is Jeff Scott Soto. And the reason everyone likes them is..... they have a song for every mood your in. Even "kids" ,which I am so very sure you & the other answerer are, like them. Only people that really do not like them are people that like that rap garbage. If you like talent, then yeah. You like JOURNEY. I can go on & on but why should I?? Your just gonna give me a "thumbs down" even though you know I am right.

whiny is better than nasal, which is what a lot of crap that is playing on the radio is passing for as music. all american rejects is something constantly played and it constantly sucks. blink 182 is better than the rejects, but again, nasal bullcrap. i was, i reiterate, was a journey fan, but that has passed because they haven't pumped anything out since the 90's. even then, it was without steve perry which should have made you happy. the sad thing about journey was that he thought they were rockers, but they weren't, but they put out some good music. a whole lot better than anything now.

Steve Perry and Journey sing songs that speak from the heart, and that's something that everyone can relate to ... "Don't Stop Believin" was a RIGHTEOUS JAM. If you weren't around in the early 80s to experience the true power and emotion that sprang forth from this mighty band of rockin' mens, then you may never understand. G'head, scurry after your little emo band, it's okay.

Because its about the lyrics they write good songs like people dont do now like John Mayer. Who writes his songs an 80's artist by the name of Richard Marx 70's & 80's rock is the best music ever written and the best music to listen to and relax and chill and just have a good time with friends and family and sing along to cause the lyrics are so great and most songs you have a connection with.

oh man that's so funny i was just talking about them with a friend yesterday and she was like 'i love cheesy 80s power ballads'...well i think it's OK at best but annoying after a couple listens.
