Sounds a lot like me. When I associate myself with a party, it is usually based on the issues that I feel most strongly about. I am Fiscally and militarily conservative, and socially liberal. I vote republican because I feel more strongly about America's financial well being and military strength than I do social issues. That's just my personal preferences. Im not saying my opinion is any better than anyone elses. Many would call you and I Libertarians.

Libertarian, or a Moderate Republican. I know one thing for CERTAIN, though-- You're no Green!

I'm registered as a Libertarian, and I vote 50/50 split between Reps and Dems in elections. In the upcoming presidential race, I'd go for either John McCain OR Barack Obama (yeah, I know he's inexperienced; for once that might be a GOOD thing), but NEVER Ms. Clinton. I look at the mind, and try to find the candidate that is the least ideological, and the most practical without appearing to be a greasy politician...

Freedom of speech? everybody is indignant each dat. Owing a gun? we've greater murders by gun that each physique the different westernized international locations mixed. hmm... well you don't have to strictly believe in the views of a party to be in that party. Can differentiate on certain things.

I'd put you at libertarian ish.....Not sure where death penalty falls on their list of views though. Gotta think though the government should be limited in its role. Let the people have more power.

I like to consider myself independent, so registered republican to anti-vote in the primaries.

Closest I can think of is Libertarian, though your views on abortion and the Iraq War would make you stand out.

Depends on your priorities.

Republican Liberty Caucus, maybe.

I think you're pretty Libertarian. Go to www.LP.org and take "The World's Smallest Political Quiz." It's pretty accurate.
