I'll soon be receiving six mystery snails and plan on keeping them in a 10-gallon aquarium. Is it okay to keep a b.n. catfish in there too, or would it eat too much of the snails' food?

No; not because it'll eat their food, but because it's too big for a 10 gallon tank. BN plecos are smaller, at about 4-5", but still too big for anything less than 30 gallons. Oto cats would be more reasonable, you could get 2-3 of them and they do a good job at eating algae, but you have to supplement their diet with algae wafers.
Is there any reason you're going with 6 mystery snails? That's an awful lot for 10 gallons. 2 would be more reasonable.

I think you would be ok but remeber that these snails also can get 6 inchs big they are also known as apple snails that means they can get as big as a small apple if you go to ebay.com and type in snails a guy has these for sale on ebay they can get huge if you want the big which should be done because it is not right to not give them a big shell(home) put some cuttle bone in the tank wash it off first and they the snails will knawl on the bone as needed it will not effect you fish ! also these snails love spinach and frozen peas and greenbeans sounds werid but I found alot of information on these snails on the internet. They are very neat !!
they are know as mystery snails, apple snails, large snails, also the worlds largest snail!

The question should be can you grow enough algae in a ten gallon tank to keep them all fed. you may have to supplement their diet with algae wafers if you go ahead with it. unfortunately a ten gallon tank isn't really large enough for a bristle nose pleco even without the snails. you may want to consider otrocinclus as an alternate algae eating fish

an ancistrus needs about 20 gallons per fish, so the answer would be no. Get a bigger tank, however, and snails and the pleco would do fine together.
