How can I improve my communication?

I have a deep voice, but I want it to be light. I think the tone of my voice makes it unclear.

whoa!,...i tot i was the only one. i've been working on it, tell u wat, try to speak as slow as u can when u talkin with someone, usually when u speak or when i speak i assume everyone understands wat am sayin becos ofcourse its coming from ma head, but ironically they dont. and u have to watch lots of t.v, i mean american t.v, i know it sounds ridiculous but somehow it gets burned into ur subconsious the proper way of pronoucing the words properly and the right tone to use. and with time u notice that it just begins to come out naturally but u have TO SPEAK VERY VERY VERY SLOWLY and then u can increase ur pace with time and when u feel everyone understands wat u saying.
