I bought a 30 gb zune from gamestop 3 days ago and discovered that my pc isn't up to snuff to run the program needed to sync/manage the music, etc.
I now have a $250 multi use mp3 player that is not going to work at all...can I take it back and plead ignorance or what. Yes, it has been opened but used VERY gently. Please help?!

Have you tried other sync programs? Windows Media Player has a basic sync program. It's not the greatest, but it might work. And WMP can run on slower, older computers.

Odds are, if it isn't damaged, you can just return it and explain it that your computer couldn't runt the software for it, simple as that. Most stores generally have a 30 money back guarantee on what they sell. Since the Zune isn't a video game, cd, or piece of software, they are supposed to take it back.

Hi.
considering that you opened it, they might charge you a restocking fee.
But, so long as it's within their return policy, returning the zune should be just fine.

(I don't think restocking fees are very high, under twenty dollars most likely.)

Delete any or everything you put in it, put it back in it's original packaging, CD as well and take it back.
