When you say Cuban restaurant to most Los Angelenos , they probably think of the popular Versailles restaurant. But where Versailles is a very informal diner, tucked away on a tacky strip in Culver City, Jennifer's new Madre's is an elegant room with white linens and lace ruffles on the tablecloths, crystal chandeliers, fine woods and even an in-house cigar maker for those famous Cuban cigars - located in the upscale South Lake district of Pasadena

Its called the Conga Room @ LA Live across the Staples Center in Los Angeles. She Co-owns the place with actors Jimmy Smitts, Paul Rodriguez and a few others. Its a great place or some salsa dancing and Merengue!

You are looking for The Conga Room - she is part owner, there are other famous people that are co-owners such as Jimmy Smits.
It is a 21 and over salsa club, very casual bar and lounge.

It was on Wilshire in L.A. but is closed down for now. It will relocate next year in front of Staples center in that new plaza they are building ( I think they will be copying/competing with the Rumba Room at Citywalk).
