how do i overcome an eviction. no sarcasm please.?

It all depends on why you are being evicted. I would recommend contacting your local fair housing board. They should be able to direct you to someone that can help with your particular case.

Pay your rent. Try to work it out with the landlord. But, if your at the eviction point, you are probably beyond that anyway.
