So my girlfriend took the plan b pill about a week ago after unprotected sex. yes I know its stupid. I am 25 so lay off me. I am big on condoms it was a spur of the moment thing. Anyways about 5 days later she got her so called "period" which was a brown and heavier flow she said. So we both decided that it was a side effect of plan b. Today she said that she still had it but it went to its normal color. So we both think that could be her period. Does anyone have any experience on this. Its only been a week so its still to early to get a pregnancy test. But it has also been a week and her breasts are tender and she is tired which are still to side effects of plan b. Again any experience? But we both highly doubt she is pregnant but we are still going to take tests just to be sure. So any help or expericence would help. thanks.

The pill maybe a side effect of the plan b pill ..but it is normal.
I had a period that started out browish colored (but that could also be caused by what the person has eatin in the past few days or it could be related to stress) as for the tender breasts and tiredness that too is included in being a woman with a period. but taking and preg. test would be a good idea i agree that there is little chance of pregnancy do to the fact of the nature of the pill even if she was 3 days pregnant it would have terminated the pregnancy so you shouldnt wry too much.

It's highly unlikely that your girlfriend is pregnant. Plan B causes the body to shed the uterine lining, which is what happened when she experienced the darker, heavier flow. Breast tenderness is often associated with women's normal menstrual cycle. Your girlfriend should certainly take a pregnancy test, but worrying needlessly until then does neither of you any good. You should also both get tested for STDs (no offense, but it's a reality). Here's a link for you:

Although there are no such side effect of using plan b. but everytime you buy such pills online you need to be careful. Only order plan b from those sites whose medicines are FDA Approved. I know one such site buybirthcontrolpills which is FDA approved as well as give heavy discounts.

Well I think she should go to the doctor because it has only be 5 days and plan b is just like the morning after which is an abortion medicine (although i am against it to the fullest) but she should really go get that checked out if could be side effects and could be the fetus but my friend had the same thing but she had a miscarriage from stress so she should go right away b4 it gets fatal and lead to cancer!!!

If she had a period, it is unlikely she is pregnant. Talk to the provider that gave her the pill for side effects, etc.

Y dont you ask a chemist/doctor regarding the pills side-effects? If she had her periods, then i gess her pregnancy is impossible!
