I want to be a car salesman... but Im in my early 20... Would you buy a car from me??? Would you treat me right as a girl- salesman?? Listen to me??

I was a car salesman for over a year. There were around 25 of us working at the dealership. Out of the 25, the one that got salesman of the month over and over was a woman. She was a attractive, late 20's, and a smooth talker. She studied the automobile specs. and could tell you anything about the car, truck or SUV. Do not rely on your looks alone, and plan on working long unproductive hours at times. but when you start making the sales, the money rolls in. it just wasn't for me. Too much of a rollercoaster ride. One month great, the next, not so great. I needed steady, hourly income, not commission. Good Luck in your Endeavors.

Id buy a car from you if you were kind, honest, and sincere. Your age or gender have nothing to do with it. It matters on your personality alone. I have met woman car salesman that act worse than than the middle age men liar salesmen. ...anyway sure id buy a car from you. Good luck with that. I wish I had the charisma and outgoing nature to do such a job. Go for it! Good luck!

I've seen a couple of car woman salesmen. Like anything else, if you knew what you were talking about and were sincere, it wouldn't matter to me if you were a man or woman. It seems to me, nowadays at least, that people know what they want when they are looking for cars and they know the basics of what they need to know already.....you're probably gonna be selling mostly on price but there's no reason why you couldn't read/learn about cars.

it really depends on how you present yourself as a salesman.
if you are confident, smart, good looking and a hard worker, then you will most likely sell some cars.
but the hours suck and if you dont sell any cars you make minimum wage.

Women have say in over 50% of sales. Salesmen treat us like we are stupid, instead of the person with most influence in the sale. I prefer to buy from women. Just know your stuff and go for it!

women don't typically do well in the car sales field, because they at times can't presure very well, and when they feel they are pressuring, the other party doesn't see it as so. I would advise you to try it though everyone has there own knack at something.

i have bought cars from men an women,.. an i dont have a problem... with eather,,,,i found good an bad in both
